I'm a UI Developer with a passion for pixel perfect design. I've been working 4 years in the public sector focussing on the new NES Digital Platform with a demonstrated history of working in an agile environment.
Currently, I’m working to continually improve the user experience on Turas at NHS Education for Scotland (NES). Turas is NES’s single unified digital platform for health and social care professionals providing access to all their NES applications via a single secure sign on.
As Turas has tens of thousands of users from different parts of the globe the UX is extremely important. My initial role was to help redesign the full platform making it accessible to AA standards which has now been achieved.
When redesigning the platform we had to take into account users with certain disabilities such as dyslexia & impaired vision as screen readers were being put in place to assist.
When the new layouts & styles were tested and agreed upon I then began to create a brand new style guide with the UX Team. The whole application has now been completely redesigned to make the layout clean, accessible and mobile responsive.
The style guide is still under development and being updated with more useful guidance every day. You can view the work so far at the link below:
I love working on new exciting projets.
