About the project

The NHS Education for Scotland main site was overdue a redesign for a long time and thankfully I was given the green light to bring it back to life.

We conducted months of research to find out the users end goal when they visit the site. Once we were happy with the results I could then begin to design the site.

The site had to feature a news section on the homepage that would be updated daily as well as an easy to navigate user interface to help the user find what they are looking for with no hassle. To help with this, I added an A-Z section on the site which makes finding articles and information easy to find.

I was very pleased with how this site turned out and we received lots of positive feedback on its release.

I have built the site in Umbraco 8 CMS as it will be updated regularly.
